About PDMP TTAC

The Prescription Drug Monitoring Program Training and Technical Assistance Center (PDMP TTAC), housed at the Institute for Intergovernmental Research (IIR), provides a comprehensive array of services, support, resources, and strategies to PDMPs, federal partners, and other stakeholders. Our mission is to enhance the effectiveness of PDMPs in combating the misuse and diversion of prescription drugs while improving patient safety and public health.


Our Key Areas of Focus Include:

  1. Consistency and Coordination: We strive to improve consistency among PDMPs and facilitate coordination between PDMPs and state/national stakeholders.
  2. Efficiency Enhancement: We work to increase PDMP efficiencies, ensuring smoother operations and better data management.
  3. Performance Measurement: We measure the performance and effectiveness of PDMPs, enabling evidence-based improvements.
  4. Promoting Best Practices: We actively promote best practices within the PDMP community.
